Succulent Design and Closed Container Gardening

Succulent Design and Closed Container Gardening

Crafts, Home & Garden, Personal Skills

Succulents seem to be everywhere these days, and it is not just because they are so unique. They are also quite easy to care for. In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to care for these plants, as well as how to make one of our classic 400 Moons terrariums. We will also discuss various ways to break away from the boring clay pot, and instead use unconventional containers.

You will walk away with a better understanding of succulents, air plants, terrariums, and the basics of closed container gardening. You will also leave inspired to fill as many containers as you can with plants!

About the teacher: 400 Moons

Emily Marlow is the artist and owner behind 400 Moons. A lifestyle studio that is focused on everyday objects being made by hand. A self-taught lover of plants, her style of terrariums was born out of making them for herself and loved ones, and soon realized the connection others had to them. Believing that having plants around you can improve one's happiness, she wants to share her journey towards earning her "green thumb" and encourage others to think outside the box (or clay pot in this case) when it comes to bringing plants indoors.
